Sales Advisor

Hays are currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent sales advisor to work for our rapidly expanding client based in the Norwich area.

Job Title: Customer Campaigns/ Business developer
Reporting to: Customer Campaigns Team Leader

Role:

To work as part of the Customer Campaigns Team to achieve deadlines and milestones in line with the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensuring all deadlines and milestones are consistently exceeded by:
o Responsibility for measuring, monitoring and managing Campaigns through to completion
o Managing all customer objections in line with the necessary milestones.
o Understanding the service in detail and being able to sell this effectively through the identification of benefits that are pertinent to the particular customer in line with business strategy
o Leading exceptional customer contact
o Scheduling and resource management to ensure delivery of strict deadlines
o Being aware of topical current affairs and understanding how this may impact our customers – for example through the familiarisation with industry specific publications and general research
· Realising new opportunities and driving them through with the relevant teams
· Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with the Commercial Team in order to gain their complete trust
· Working closely with Category Managers/NAM’s to achieve key account objectives
· Working alongside Category Managers with the aim of achieving 100% coverage and 100% currency for our customers
· Managing expectations and delivering as required the relevant information to Customers and colleagues
· Internal relationship building to ensure implementation of efficiencies for our customers
· Identification of potential revenue streams from alternative sources
· Cross selling and up selling at every opportunity
· Assisting customers with every aspect of the service including technical knowledge of the image download service and features of the available download formats, and support in all aspects of the company Product Library
· Taking an interest in and seeking out information about the company's strategic objectives and understanding where this can be communicated to the supplier base
· Being confident in discussing with the supplier about upcoming developments, obtaining testimonials, obtaining knowledge about new areas which may be of interest to the company
· Ownership of Campaign evaluation and improvement
· Trouble shooting, complaint/query handling
· Other duties on an Ad-hoc basis

Performance measured through

· Criteria identified on the Commercial Team Skills Framework: all criteria of a level must be achieved to be considered achieving.
· Assistance in meeting quarterly sales targets
· Customer satisfaction surveys

Skill Base Required:

The ideal candidate should be educated to a reasonable level. Professionally presented and articulate they should be a confident communicator at all levels. Previous experience in building customer relationships is essential and preferably within a B2B environment.

· Highly organised and logical approach
· Personable with drive and determination to over deliver
· Decisive and able to work on your own initiative or within a team
· Adaptable and enthusiastic
· Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presenting
· Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook required
· Good time management and ability to prioritise
· Enthusiastic and hard working with a high level of team spirit

A mature attitude with good attention to detail, this person needs to be able to juggle a number of different resources to offer the highest level of customer service at all times.
