My client, a leading retail bank, are looking for an Intermediary Mortgage Underwriter Team Manager to manage the day to day operations of the Mortgage Underwriting team.
The Mortgage Underwriter Team Manager will be working with key stakeholders across the business to deliver and develop a service proposition that meets the customers needs whilst maintaining compliant. You will also be responsible operating within a lending mandate defined by Credit Risk, and underwriting higher risk and complex lending propositions.
The ideal candidate will have held a full discretion lending mandate of at least £500,000 and have experience of managing a team. It will also be essential for the candidate to to understand the mortgage credit risk lifecycle.
