Intermediary Sales Manager recruitment

Exciting new opportunity for senior sales professional with a strong track record in selling to the UK intermediary marketplace.   Regional remit covers the North East and a network of IFA contacts in this area will be highly advantageous.

Working for one of the world’s largest financial institutions, the role will carry responsibility for managing relationships and promoting services and investment products to a client base of North East based IFAs and other financial intermediaries. Strong technical knowledge of both the investments and life and pensions markets are essential and applicants will demonstrate a good regulatory knowledge, to include an understanding of the impact of RDR on the wrap and platform marketplace.

The ability to build, develop and maintain excellent long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential and will be complemented by a robust approach, high level of commercial acumen and a strong track record in selling to the adviser marketplace.

The role has a regional remit and extensive travel is prerequisite. Specific responsibilities will include promotion of investments and services, product training, presenting at roadshows and other events and undertaking sales strategy planning

Previous investment sales experience and a results-driven approach are essential qualities and the successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven networking ability and a strong team focus.
