JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a permanent role providing process engineering support for projects, license delivery the over-all development of our technology platform. The Int Process Engineer will work to institute design requirements process design packages as well as helping the team implement projects confirming that project goals are met in areas of technology management of safety, risk change.
- This will include: SOP's, analysis of different process configurations, optimization, preparation of PFD's P ID's, technology packages, mass energy balances, basis of design documentation, process design packages, equipment specifications, basic design packages, capital operating costs estimates, risk analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active support of all SHE policies procedures.
- Offer technical support in solving problems in an integrated cross-functional team environment.
- Examining optimization, process configurations, scale-up, equipment designs unit operations.
- Deliver process design mentoring technical feedback for the following industrial scale unit operations: incineration, biomass processing handling, gasification, heat transfer, fermentation, filtration, steam power generation, distillation, boilers, evaporation, utilities effluent treatment systems.
- Works with License Support Contractor Commercial Staff to effectively efficiently deliver on technology license commitments.
- Operates closely with the Project Manager other key stakeholders to guarantee projects are constructed on time within budget. Reviews detailed designs specifications, liaises with contractor’s staff attends construction /or design meetings.
- Develops sustains positive relationships with colleagues, consultants, key stakeholders to confirm projects run smoothly to resolve concerns quickly efficiently.
- Researches sources new systems resources, analyzes processes, procedures working practices to identify apply changes to enhance efficiency, productivity overall profitability.
- Sustains proficiency with current techniques developments to maintain improve technical skills.
- Assess technical requirements, research the necessary data establish cost effective materials of construction.
- Capacity to create in both the technology development operations areas.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education/Experience
- Demonstrated process engineering experience (5+ years) in a chemical plant project environment.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering professional engineering accreditation.
- Project design experience with equipment instrumentation typically found in a chemical plant.
Skills/Competencies
- Sincere devotion to safety.
- Superb organizational skills coupled with the ability to handle a fast paced environment.
- Strong oral written communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
