Position Description
Supplier Management is seeking several individuals to support supplier related activities. Selected candidates may work in areas where they will participate in new business acquisition process, or gain familiarity with contract terms and conditions and Request for Proposals. Candidates may work with internal and external customers and/or suppliers. Candidates may work with performance data and metrics and may develop knowledge of one or more project management tools (Earned Value Management, Risk Management, integrated schedules). Candidate may work on subcontract administration or closeout.
Competencies
Candidates should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel, Schedule). Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and Procurement systems desired.

Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED.

Prefer student enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, Business or Finance major. Clearly state your major, month/year of graduation and GPA to your resume. Preferred work shift is 7:30 to 4:30. The position may be any one of the following locations Anaheim, El Segundo, Huntington Beach, Long Beach or Seal Beach, California. Specific assignment and location will be given when internship begins in June 2012. Ability to obtain a security clearance requires US citizenship.
