Intern Placement – Flow Trading
Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, the world’s fifth-largest bank by total assets ('The Banker', July 2012). Crédit Agricole CIB offers its clients a comprehensive range of products and services in capital markets, brokerage, investment banking, structured finance, corporate banking and international private banking. The bank provides support to clients in large international markets through its network with a presence in major countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a busy fixed income trading desk, directly with the Credit Traders and Desk Analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Credit Traders and Desk Analysts
- Perform a series of daily administrative tasks relating to Profit and Loss and risk reporting
- Respond to ad hoc requests for help in resolving administrative problems and trade booking enquiries
- Involvement in ad hoc projects to streamline the desk processes
- Provide support for credit analysis as requested by the Trading team
Essential role requirements
- University graduate or equivalent
- Strong understanding of fixed income products (bonds, loans and derivatives)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of Bloomberg/ Reuters
- Ability to prioritise and provide solutions
