As part of a team under close supervision, Interns will assist in performing a variety of developmental assignments learn new business tools. At the end of the Internship, the intern would have learned about the various activities involved in project management business analysis. The Design Review team processes over 650 infrastructure projects per year totaling $1 billion in project spend. The role will be to assure that we've collected the appropriate information for each project. Essential Functions The intern experience may include, but is not limited to one or more of the following: The interns will be assuring that appropriate information is collected for each of the projects presented for Design Review. Some projects are very large (many millions of dollars), so the data set may be complex. Technology they will Learn: Some infrastructure, and ITL processes Competenices they will Develop: Teamwork, data processing, and some data normalization Qualifications: Basic Qualifications - Freshman or Sophomorepursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Health Information Systems, Business, - 2.8 GPA - Academic students seeking professional training within a business corporate environment - Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications - Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or related degree with coursework in Information Systems. - Freshman or Sophomore college student with two or three summers remaining prior to graduation. - 6 to 12 months educational experience within coursework emphasizing specific technical or business curriculum.
