Store Manager Training
Holiday Stationstores has created a training process of self-study and hands on training for managers. Manager trainees are trained in a store by Holiday's certified trainers for 6 to 8 weeks before being placed as a store manager.
Your training will consist of:
- Time Mangement
- Employee Development
- Operations Training
- Bookkeeping
- Merchandising
- Inventory Control
- Food Safety and Sanitation
- Financials
- Control Cash
- Merchandise Shrinkage
- Recruit, hiring, training, and supervising Stationstore Associates.
- Responsible for enforcing Company policies, procedures, and programs.
Once placed, each new manager will receive two additional weeks of training in their store by one of Holiday's Field Trainers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Qualifications Required:
- Manager Trainee or Assistant Manager
- Previous Retail Management
- Detail-oriented
- Customer service-oriented
- Work with deadlines
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, associates, and vendors
- Lift, carry, push, pull up to 60lbs
- Occasionally bend, kneel, squat and reaching over shoulder
- Work in cooler and freezer
- Requires use of extension ladder
Education/Training Required:
- High School or Equivalent
- College preferred
