As an Engineering Co-ops on 6 to 9-month assignments at Micron in our Manassas, VA location, your functional areas will include:
- Diffusion
- Photolithography
- Real Time Defect Analysis (RDA)
- Yield Analysis/Enhancement (YE)
- Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD)
- Dry Etch
- Wet Process
- Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)/Implant
- Probe
- Parametrics
- Metrology
- Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP)
- Quality and Reliability Assurance (QRA)
- Production Technology
- Facilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing more efficient processes and more reliable tool designs.
- Troubleshooting equipment and process issues that arise on shift.
- Collecting, documenting, and analyzing data from testing or experiments conducted in the area.
- Analyzing and working with deviated product.
- Troubleshooting system problems.
- Developing policies for new equipment and procedures.
Successful candidate(s) for this position will have:
- Ability to commit to a 6 or 9-month assignment.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An applicable area of study.
Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.
Education:
Candidates will be in pursuit of BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline and must plan to go back to school after completion of the internship.
