Internal Auditor (m/f) in Group Investment Audit recruitment

These include, among others, direct and indirect private equity investments, real estate and renewable energy. AAA also acts as a service provider for the Allianz Group in matters relating to investment audit and other topics.
Your new duties and responsibilities
Group Investment Audit is globally operating and responsible for investment and asset management audits on Allianz Group Level. The auditor will lead and perform audits in this area of Allianz SE, mainly Allianz Investment Management SE, in Germany and abroad.
- Performance of risk assessment and development of risk-oriented audit programs
- Analysis and Generation of feasible recommendations for improvements of organizations and processes based upon audit activities
- Explicit and precise communication of deficiencies and recommendations for remediation
- Conducting closing meetings together with the auditee
- Creating and developing audit ideas
- Follow-up of audit recommendations and communication with responsible parties
- Application of Allianz Group Audit Policy and Minimum Standards in daily audit work
- Maintenance of contacts within the audit community and the organization (relationship management)
Required qualifications and experience
Qualifications
- Strong academic background (e.g. Legal / Business Administration)
- Fluent in English and German; fluent in Italian or French a plus
Experience
- Significant experience in the Financial Services Industry (Investment and/or Asset Management, Banking) in investment/finance related topics
- Experience in internal or external audit or as a consultant
- Knowledge of regulatory environment and corporate governance regulations; good knowledge of the Group structure a plus
- Capacity to quickly comprehend, analyse, challenge and make recommendations
- Ability to adequately express (verbally and in writing) and to accept criticism
- Ability to work in flexible teams and to establish a constructive working climate
- Strong communication and intercultural skills
- Adaptability to different environments
- Intellectual curiosity and readiness to travel
