Internal control – Apprenticeship recruitment

Paris Internal Control Function is a separately established function that is developed and evolves so as to:

• Check that the organization is in place and verify the existence of procedures taking into account business practices and standards

• Identify gaps and deficiencies

• Assist business and other control functions in the implementation of 1st and 2nd levels of control

• Define and run AXA IM Paris Internal Control Plan (except for sales marketing activities followed by Paris Compliance Team)

• Follow the complete regularization and the eventual indemnification of all incidents which have an impact for our clients

Reporting to Internal Control Manager, your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Run, develop and automate some controls defined in the internal control plan

• Produce monthly activity reports on control results

• Participate with the team to the analysis and resolution of dysfunction and propose adequate remediation plans.

What sort of profile are we looking for?

• Education qualifications (i.e. type of studies student should be undertaking) : master level in Finance, Economics or Engineer School.

• Technical skills (e.g. IT applications, analysis, research, etc.) : knowledge in VBA, able to create some Excel macro.

• Keen interest in the financial markets, products, and securities laws and regulations

• Ability to work autonomously, accurate and detail-oriented, ability to work on a team of diverse individuals

• Languages required : French and English
