Internal Model Development Actuary recruitment

Our Risk Management Actuarial practice focuses on the evolution of the Risk function, and the redesign of associated operating models and architecture to enable a responsive and proactive Risk posture within firms.

We advise firms at every stage of the implementation cycle, by devising strategies and approaches that enable them to leverage their investment to transform organisational performance, market positioning and overall competitiveness. 

As a Senior Manager you will work across our Life Insurance client base to understand the impacts of new Risk measurement methodologies under Solvency II. You will be responsible for liability aggregation and supporting full design, delivery and implementation of the models. Specific experience of Solvency II processes such as capital allocation and embedding are also necessary.

Core Deliverables

-       Design and delivery of capital allocation and performance management

-       Group wide liability aggregation and design and delivery of the models

-       Support the design and delivery of the Group Internal Model and ORSA calculations

Experience Background

-       5 years+ relevant industry experience, in either a relevant Consultancy role or with a Life Insurer

-       Experience working life liability aggregation models, ORSA, and Solvency II

-       Knowledge of Solvency II legislation, implementation measures and emerging Solvency II developments

Qualifications Skills

-       Qualified Actuary

-       Strong mathematical background with a degree from a top tier University

-       Ability to prepare clear and concise test across Pillars 1, 2 and 3 outlining Group Policies in respect of implementation the Internal Model and covering Aggregation Policies.
