With a 10 year history of innovative investment solutions and strong performance, we are building out our business development team and are seeking an internal consultant (wholesaler) to join our team. Internal Sales Consultant
The Internal Consultant works closely with the Director of Advisor Services and Regional Directors to maintain regular communication with advisors and brokers, clearly communicating the attributes and benefits of QA and our Global Investment System to effectively support our existing and prospective advisors. The Internal Consultant will raise awareness of QA’s products and services, improve relationships, and encourage beneficial use of QA’s products by active advisors, primarily through phone and e-mail contact.
Candidates will need to demonstrate competency in several categories, including strategic sales capabilities; strong relationship building and organizational skills; and proven sales experience and success. Candidates must have a deep understanding of the brokerage and advisory distribution channels and the ability to communicate technical investment management solutions.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Proactive contact of active and prospective advisors in the independent/RIA channel by phone and web to raise awareness and facilitate understanding of the firm’s investment management products and services
- Support of QA’s external sales professionals
- Profile new advisor relationships to target premier advisor teams
- Coordinate sales activities and campaigns with home office sales and marketing leadership
- Build relationships with internal and external team members
- Identify and contribute ideas to improve processes within the department
- The position may require some travel
Requirements:
- 3 + years investment management industry sales experience and proven success
- Strong abilities and experience in communicating technical subject matter
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or commensurate experience in the investment management industry
