INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY SERVICES (IAS) SUPPORT ASSISTANT recruitment
This position within international Advisory Services (IAS) Support Services will champion data and reporting initiatives that solve the International Sales business problems. The position acts as an advocate for IAS. Their contributions enable international sales to realize efficiencies, automation and/or increased capacity through the completion of various data and reporting initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Understand data and reporting-related problems and challenges, developing solutions that address the issues.
- Provide data and reporting expertise.
- Move priority initiatives forward by collaborating with various partners (e.g., the Technology, Global Marketing departments, etc.)
- Reviewing data from different applications.
- Completing data cleansing.
- Updating applications and systems with new or correct data.
- Ensure upstream systems receive data correctly from source systems.
- Work with IAS Sales Support application support team members to create and implement processes that ensure and maintain data and reports quality.
- Connect regularly with each sales office to understand their issues, needs and priorities.
- Probe the business on challenges they raise.
- Ensure there is a clear understanding of the business need, impact, priority, etc.
- Act as a consultant to the project manager providing expertise and guidance (assist with writing where appropriate).
- Play a prominent role within the user acceptance testing process, acting as a consultant throughout.
- Provide business sign-off/approval.
- Testing cases and documentation.
- Testing execution.
- It is expected that all members within the team have a sense of creativity and thinking “outside the box” to explore new possibilities and opportunities.
- Team members must have a mature disposition, be personable, and be able to work well within teams across continents/time zones.
Core Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; ability to tailor communication style based on audience.
- Excellent writing skills (for presentations, documentation, etc.).
- Ability to create a compelling business case presentation.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented (tracking budgets, managing lists, tasks/to-dos, etc.); good with follow through on own items; good with following up with others on outstanding items.
- Ability to take a larger problem and break down the individual components; identify how to go about solving the problem and who to involve in the process.
- Ability to present recommended solutions to a variety of issues and problems (solutions that are consistent with organization objectives).
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (majors of preference include: business, communication, English).
- Experience working through multiple business fiscal cycles; exposure and/or direct experience with project management and/or sales-related-capacity required.
- Prior work experience related to projects, sales, marketing and/or international a must. Level will not be granted based on years of experience but will be determined by the employee’s ability to meet each job activity as outlined the ‘typical/expected focus by level.’
- Travel may be required depending on business needs.
- Expert knowledge of contact management and reporting systems, excel and access a plus.
