International Commercial Finance Manager

My client is a large, global professional services firm who have an exciting strategy for further international growth and expansion. As part of this a new senior management role has arisen within their finance team which will be crucial in linking the financial and commercial objectives of the firms international offices.

The person that takes on this role will be expected to understand the commercial basis for each oversees office and forge key relationships with the regional CFO's and key members of the senior management team. You will be given ownership for overseeing the management reporting and forecasting of the performance of each of the non- UK offices, identifying opportunities to improve performance and potential risks. Linking in with the firm-wide growth strategy the person in this role can also expect to work on a number of projects to look at international expansion of either existing offices or entering into new countries and markets. This would be full life-cycle from the initial evaluation and financial review of plans through to being part of a key senior management team who are responsible for the set up and development of new offices.

In my opinion this is a highly attractive opportunity because it will give you exposure and involvement with the firms senior management team, responsibility for reviewing the performance of offices across a number of countries and the opportunity to work on key strategic projects.

I am looking for a driven senior finance professional who is currently in commercial finance position within an international businesses. You will need to be fully qualified (ACA or CIMA) and have a combination of recent financial control and commercial projects experience. Ideally this will have given you experience of evaluating plans for growth and expansion on an international scale looking at both financial and operational aspects of these plans. My client will be looking for someone who comes across confidently and has experience of presenting plans to senior stakeholders and challenging commercial decisions.
