One of Britain's best known and best loved health and beauty brands are currently embarking on the next step of their digital evolution and require a technical project manager to make this happen.
My client is a long established health beauty brand with ethical responsibility and a passion for fair trade as core values. They have been established for more than 30 years and after rapid expansion now have more than 2,700 stores in 66 countries as well as an ever increasing digital presence - serving more than 300 million customers worldwide.
They are going through a huge growth in their ecommerce area, diverting significant budget in to this business unit with plans to launch 12 websites in to different international locations as well as 8 CRM models, loyalty schemes, changes to their checkout procedure as well as process improvement. It is a very busy time for the digital team which means headcount is likely to double over the next 6-12 months.
You will be responsible for multiple ecommerce projects including the above - projects ranging from web development projects to changes to their checkout procedure. There will be elements of process improvement as well as project delivery, being responsible for teams on onsite/offshore development teams as well as wider strategic business areas.
The successful candidate will most likely have the following skills and experience;
- Competence in change request, change management and change control
- A strong track record in ecommerce project delivery with a major retailer or brand
- Liaise and communicate with all key stakeholders including e-commerce, CRM, supply chain, sourcing and commercial.
- Working knowledge of project planning software such as MS Project or equivalent
- Experience in planning and managing multiple projects and a clear understanding of risk evaluation techniques
- Previous experience of working in a cross-functional organisational structure
- Able to confidently negotiate with key stakeholders
