International Regulatory Affairs Executive with Spanish recruitment
Due to growth they are looking for a graduate with the ability to read and translate Spanish at an intermediate level to assist in the protection, development and enhancement of the company’s licensing and trading platform in the Latin American and Asia-Pacific markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain international regulatory relationships and communications.
- Support representatives in overseas territories in the management of regulatory relationships and communications
- Monitor and analyse legislation/regulations and collate/store all relevant information.
- Assess the impact of existing and new market access restrictions and legislative /regulatory burdens in relevant territories and coordinate Lloyd’s response to these.
- Facilitate communication with international regulators on business continuity / disaster recovery issues
- Assist in the planning and execution of regulatory visits/secondments.
Key requirements:
- Graduate level education, ideally within international relations, legal, English literature or international business
- Ability to read Spanish at an intermediary level and translate complex regulatory documents from Spanish to English for internal/external stakeholders (essential)
- Insurance industry experience, ideally with strong technical knowledge of the London insurance market or the ability to acquire it quickly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to build successful business relationships
- Capability to work with little supervision or as part of a professional team.
- -Ability to understand and participate in complex projects and processes.
