International Wealth Management (IWM) | Senior Director, Family Office Services International
The Senior Director, IWM Services will lead the London IWM business unit, and will be focused on the relationship management and operational activities for its client base. This position will be based in London and will report to the MD of International Wealth Management for London/APAC.
The incumbent will be a senior member of the overall IWM business unit, and will work with the Leadership to help support the strategic direction of the Group and help plan/implement growth initiatives in London.
The incumbent will be expected to
- Contribute to the business development efforts of IWM by working with the various region heads and Sales team
- Be a driver of the group's relationship management and operational efficiency in the regions which will include managing a Team to help achieve this
- As the business contracts under an FSA regulated entity, the individual will have accountability for the IWM London responsibilities with respect to compliance with the CASS requirements, as set out in the Accountability Matrix, specifically over the on-boarding of clients, new product approval and business operational changes, CASS MI reporting and training
The Incumbent will also carry the role of Designated Senior Manager in UK and will take responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of the business’s anti-money laundering (“AML”)/ countering terrorist financing (“CTF”) systems and controls, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and in the spirit of the BNY Mellon Corporate AML/CFT policy statement.
This involves ensuring that a risk assessment is carried out and reviewed regularly, risk-based controls, policies and procedures are formulated, implemented and maintained, all stages of this process are documented, the function is adequately resourced and where appropriate, adequate management information is provided to senior management.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) required
- MBA/relevant post graduate studies preferred
- Fluent English speaker
- Multiple languages would be an advantage
