Full time role at Central London Investment Consultancy
Stamford Associates Limited (SAL) provides investment advice to institutional investors with assets totalling over £40 billion and is an advocate of specialist multi-manager investment programmes.
An opportunity has arisen for a bright, well organised and motivated graduate to join SAL in a support role within their Investment Manager Monitoring team. The role will be heavily data oriented with the successful applicant processing portfolio data and liaising with third party providers on a regular basis in accordance with a series of tasks / deadlines.
The role will include:
- Responsibilty for timely receipt and processing of data from fund management groups (checking and cleaning where necessary)
- Perform detailed analysis on quantitative information received
- Recommend to colleagues areas in the analysis undertaken (above) that require further research
- Collate information on relevant peer groups for comparison purposes
- Assist in preparation of investment analytics / meeting papers prior to manager meetings
- Fully understand the quantitative analysis process and make recommendations for efficiency enhancements
Key requirements:
- Recent graduate with a degree that has a significant mathematical element
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Highly computer literate with an up to date knowledge of Excel (this will be tested at interview)
- Keen interest in finance
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Confident team player
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Methodical problem solver with strong attention to detail

SAL receives a satisfactory reference from your previous employer and/or University.
SAL receiving results from a pre-employment security check that it finds satisfactory, which will involve a criminal record disclosure and credit checking.
