INTERNSHIP – Business Intelligence & Analysis recruitment
The candidate should be from a reputable US university/college, a fast learner with a sincere interest in financial services to institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurance, etc...), and a team player with strong communication and administrative skills. You will gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of what an investment bank delivers to these clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
The main responsibility will be to assist the team in the roll out of a new Client Relationship Management System, based on a strong client referential, for the front office of the Investment Bank. This will include:
* Data Cleaning (referential)
* Data Migration (users)
* Training of Sales and Support with follow up
* Testing of enhancements and admin support role
* Assist the team in the management of specific initiatives like the Key Client Program, account reviews and reports along with other business intelligence functions
* Responsible for industry analysis and business/operational development analysis
* Take charge of other ad-hoc projects to improve our operations
Knowledge and skills beneficial to the position:
* Basic knowledge of or the capacity to learn about the financial services industry and its workings, including general financial, regulatory and legal structures along with operations framework
* Basic knowledge of capital markets trading products and the associated risks including counterparty credit risks
* Capacity to perform detailed industry analysis, identify trends and their impacts on the industry
* Strong computer skills including Excel data mining, SQL
* Strong presentation, writing and analytical skills; proactive, detail-oriented, driven to work in a fast learning environment
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Good project management skills
* Prone to take initiative and creative
* Ability to speak French a plus
Candidate must be available to work full time business hours and is paying $20-$27 per hour based on experience.
