Opportunity

MG have an intranet that is accessed by all staff globally and is founded on SharePoint. This role is to develop on this platform, delivering to business requirements and to provide support on existing solutions.

Provide ideas and define opportunities to further use the SharePoint product set for business benefit.

Key responsibilities

* Assistance with the migration from SharePoint 2007 to 2013
* Support of the Intranet platform
* Development and delivery of business solutions using SharePoint products.
* Communication and engagement with business representatives and users.
* Building and maintaining client relationships with users in the business.
* Team task delivery and communication at all levels.
* Issue/problem management including defining actions for other areas in Information Systems and Technical Services teams.
* Escalation to management, senior IS managers and business management.
* Ability to work reliably without close supervision and used to working in a structured environment with clearly defined procedures and controls.
* Good interpersonal skills are key, the candidate must be able to work well with other members of the team, management and business clients.

What we are looking for

Essential
* Knowledge of SharePoint 2007
* C# .Net
* SQL Server
* jQuery
* Communication and client interaction skills
* Ability to work on their own and as part of a team

Desirable
* Experience with delivering on any of the following platforms:
* Nintex Workflow
* SharePoint 2013
* Coveo Search
* Axceler Control Point/Change Manager
* Oracle
* Knowledge/experience of agile development practices
