INVENTORY RESOLUTION ANALYST (2011068)
Description
As an Inventory Resolution Analyst, you will investigate and analyze Client Hospital's Self Pay inventory, provide support to the NYU Self Pay Department in the form of accounts receivable management, analysis and report generation. You are responsible to manage the aging of Hospital Self Pay accounts receivable through analysis of disposition, balance, etc. You will assist Self Pay management in identifying issues that contribute to aging of the receivables, analyze account flow and inventory assignments to insure that all accounts are worked in accordance with prescribed protocols. You will review the tracking of all Self Pay interfaces; provide conversion support and assistance to Self Pay Management during new client conversions or system conversions for existing clients. You will compile data, and create reports to be included in the monthly Hospital Performance Update. You provide assistance and support to Self Pay supervisors as needed, to control correspondence or escalation backlog.
Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze accounts for discrepancies and initiate steps to resolve them
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A strong working knowledge of multiple internal HBCS systems and member hospital systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT staff during conversions or to receive status updates on service requests or other outstanding IT issues
- Proven results in accounts receivable inventory management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including creation and maintenance of pivot tables and the ability to create queries using complex logic
