INVENTORY SPECIALIST-Ft Lauderdale, FL (2012450) Job in Fort Lauderdale 33309, Florida US

As Inventory Specialist you are the on-site member of the Logistics Team. You will be responsible for implementing company inventory/instrument policy and procedure on a territory level. This includes minimizing inventory/instrument investment as well as maintaining accurate records of product placements, good working knowledge of company products, operating systems and procedures is critical. You must be considered a valuable resource to the District Sales Manager.

You will have the following below as additional duties:

Achieve company asset investment goals as related to inventory and instruments.
Maintain compliance with Smith Nephew Standard Operating Procedures.
Reviews instrument and inventory performance with District Sales Manager.
Ensures that consignments are verified twice annually and maintain accurate IAP records.
Recommends adjustments to inventory/instrument levels to maximize performance.

You will need:

Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Logistics Management, Operations Management, or Accounting; or an appropriate combination of education. Five (5) years experience in Inventory, Materials Management, Customer Service, Distribution, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related fields.
Window Office Suite required-Windows, Word, Excel, Internet Explore and Email. Access (or other relational database) is a plus.
Experience in a production planning, inventory management or customer service system is required.
