Investigations Manager recruitment
The role holder will be responsible for contributing to the most complex/sensitive investigations and for leading and completing slightly less complex investigations assigned to the division, providing an independent and objective service either as investigation lead or as part of a wider investigation team.
This role does not include direct line management responsibility. However, the role holder will also potentially have to lead small cross business and functional teams on a project basis.
Lead ad hoc unit projects as directed.
Additionally the role holder will have joint responsibility for ensuring investigations are thorough and completed to the highest professional standards.
Main Duties:
• Provide an independent and objective investigation service throughout the Group that applies rigorous, lawful and professional practices and principles in order to conclude for senior management / executives on issues under investigation.
• Lead or contribute to division investigations across the Group.
• Leading investigations may also require the leadership of a small team brought together for the purposes of a singular investigation, including cross functional or business staff.
• Ensure assignments/projects are completed objectively, efficiently and to the highest professional standards, with minimal requirement for Senior Management oversight.
• Support and contribute to the development of others. Share knowledge to enhance the development of the wider team.
• Take ownership of joint and specific departmental objectives; including undertaking projects on behalf of the Senior Manager.
• Recommend improvements in systems and controls either in the wider Group Divisions or within the specific business unit.
• Manage and be accountable for own time management and support others.
• Make a real difference to risk management and control by working in partnership with stakeholders, providing proactive advice, challenge and expertise.
