Investment Accounting Software - Business Consultant -London
Investment Accounting Business Consultant required to join a growing Financial software house. This organisation works with high profile clients in the Investment Management / Asset Servicing / Insurance Space.
The ideal candidate will have a background in professional services with a financial vendor (ideally Investment Accounting / Fund Accounting) such as InvestOne (SunGard), ICON or Chorus (LineData), HiPortfolio or Paladign, PAM (Princeton), Multifonds (IGEFI), Eagle (Eagle STAR), Dimension (Simcorp), Milestone, Quasar (Misys / Rhymes), Geneva (Advent), Porsche or similar in house accounting systems etc
Alongside Investment / Fund Accounting Software knowledge, any understanding of Front to Back Buyside systems would be advantageous.
The role requires the confidence to run workshops with clients, gather requirements, challenge the client and handle issues as and when they arise. You must also have strong documentation skills in order to create functional documentation and have a technical awareness in order to do some product configuration.
As well as the pure business element, there will also be involvement in Presales, Implementations and Post implementation training and support.

Investment Accounting Systems / Software knowledge - must have!!
Investment Accounting Business knowledge - ideally having worked for a software vendor or within a Fund Accounting / Investment Accounting department as a Business Analyst / Consultant
Technical knowledge and ideally SQL skills
Financial knowledge - Ideally Investment Management knowledge - Equities / Fixed Income / Derivatives in particular swaps
Client facing, confident and a willingness to learn and develop
Package: 50 - 75k inc. bonus
