Investment Analyst, Infrastructure

With a diverse portfolio of investments spanning infrastructure, property and fixed income, our client is an established investment manager with close ties to the superannuation industry.  As part of their new investment strategy, they seek a highly capable Investment Analyst to join their Development team in Sydney.

As part of the purpose-built Development team, the Investment Analyst will provide analytical support to the evaluation and execution of Greenfields investments and Brownfields acquisitions.  Specifically, the Investment Analyst will be responsible for developing detailed financial models that include financial statements and outputs such as taxation, financing, capital returns, valuation and scenario analysis.  Additionally, the Investment Analyst will provide assistance in relation to deal structuring (financing, debt terms and financial structuring), undertake qualitative market competitor research, assist with the review of commercial agreements and importantly, be comfortable dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders; confidently presenting outputs to key decision makers.

With qualifications in Commerce and Engineering preferred, it is likely you are currently working in a corporate, funds manager or top-tier professional services firm.  You will have experience developing detailed financial models for large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, airports and ports etc.) and wish to utilise thesemodellingskills with your future employer.  A strong communicator with intellectual curiosity, you will be passionate about a long-term career in the infrastructure sector.  Applicants with exposure to toll road assets will be looked upon favorably; remuneration commensurate to applicant's experience.
