Our client
Is one of Australia's longest running and well known mid-market PE houses with over a decade's experience in the Australian market, specialising in businesses with enterprise values of between $100m - $500m. To date have successfully completed in excess of a dozen acquistions.
The opportunity
Part way through their current fund raise, and with an apetite for future growth, they are now seeking to employ a highly capable credentialed candidate at the Investment Analyst level to join their Sydney based team. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in all aspects of private equity investments including originating and executing new deals, extensive financial modelling and industry research, monitoring portfolio companies and divestments.
To be considered you must have between 2 and 3 years experience in either:
- A leading bulge bracket Investment Bank (Industrials / Consumer / Sponsors / MA) or..
- An Australian Private Equity firm - pref. mid-market focussed
Preferably based in Sydney, you'll possess outstanding analytical skills in financial modelling and industry research, combined with the necessary intellectual curiosity and interpersonal skills. An excellent academic results at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level from a highly regarded university will also be a pre-requisite.
NB: Only candidates based in Australia (Sydney pref.) with the relevant Investment Banking or PE experience will be considered.
