Investment Analyst recruitment

.  Monitoring and assessing the performance of third party fund managers;

• Quantitative analysis of historical performance and market exposures;

• Qualitative assessment including meeting with fund managers to understand their investment strategy, portfolio construction and positioning.

• Understanding of how funds are incorporated in multi-asset portfolios;

• Research into specialist topics such as the impact of inflation on investment portfolios;

• The Investment Analyst will incorporate this information along with supporting information from the team into PowerPoint presentations and other ad hoc communications.

The Investment Analyst will sit on the Investment Committee and the Fund Selection Committee.

Successful candidates will need to display the following credentials:

• A good work ethic and an appetite to make a difference in an extremely varied and challenging role;

• Strong academic track record;

• Highly developed quantitative and analytical skills;

• Experience as an Investment Analyst in a wealth management or fund research house;

• A “team player” attitude;

• IMC qualified with advanced Excel and VBA skills desirable;

• Working towards CFA.
