Investment Associate (Luxembourg Based)
The investment management team oversees the serviced investments by providing two main functions which are
(i) the forecast and modelling of the expected investment cash flow and (ii) the development of business plans or servicing measures together with loan or real estate asset management.
The main target of the team is to ensure effective portfolio servicing and the maximization of the profit from the serviced portfolios.
Key duties include:
- Supporting the team in developing and updating the investment models managed bu the company, as well as performing performance calculations.
- Work with the relevant teams to understand in detail the performance of the investments and the assets within the portfolio
- Engage in rigorous on-the-job training towards gradual assumption of independent ownership of existing and new investments
- Independently perform tasks in relation to the impact of servicing measures on the portfolio performance with the target of developing value enhancing measures
- Work effectively with loan asset managers and real estate asset managers to provide analysis that supports their decision making
The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding Excel modelling and financial skills with proven capability
- Previous transactional experience in a leading financial institution, private equity or real estate group
- Excellent transaction management skills
- Ideally experience of loan execution and management
- A self-starter with problem solver mentality and the ability to make well reasoned business decisions
- A solid grasp of European Real Estate market intelligence with a particular focus on western European markets
