What are my responsibilities?
- The Investment Associate (m/f) will support the investment partners with respect to investments in buyout funds in Europe, Asia and the Americas as well as with respect to investments in special situations funds
- Market reviews: Systematic analysis of sub-markets for private equity, including e.g. certain regions or industries
- Deal pipeline management: Tracking of fund raising pipeline, pre-screening of incoming investment opportunities, pro-active communication with funds on target list
- Due diligence process: execution of commercial due diligence, co-ordination of legal and tax due diligence, drafting of investment committee memorandum and presentation
- Portfolio management: review and analysis of the funds’ quarterly reports, communication with funds, assessment of key developments
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Excellent academic track record with a university degree in business administration, finance or other studies with a quantitative focus
- Around 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the private equity industry, in leveraged finance, in management consulting or MA
- International experience
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
