Investment Bank Credit Analyst, Natural Resources
The core focus of this role is to prepare, present and recommend corporate credit proposals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients within the Natural Resources space (Oil Gas, Mining Metals, Pulp Paper, Chemicals).
Main responsibilities will include:
Recommendation of limits/reviews to higher sanctioning authorities/ committees.
Monitor allocated portfolio and industries for material developments affecting credit quality and the initiation of appropriate action.
Financial risk analysis (balance sheet, PL and cash flow) of clients including supporting the annual review process.
Attend credit-focused client calls.
Present certain annual reviews and new money requests to a credit committee composed of senior sanctioners.
Attend business committee and uphold a regular dialogue with different internal departments.
Participate in team and/or department wide initiatives.
Experience and skills required:
Recent and relevant banking experience is essential, corporate or investment banking.
There is a definite preference for experience of covering either oil and gas or metals and mining names.
European languages an advantage.
Derivatives products knowledge also an advantage.
