Top Investment Bank seeks and Investment Banking Associate in their Tech MA group.
Integral member of team focused on providing strategic advice and raising capital for the Tech, Media, Telecom group.
• Primary responsibilities include assisting in generation of new business ideas, structuring and documenting transactions, conducting due diligence, developing proprietary financial models and performing various analyses, conducting extensive company and industry research, overseeing and assisting in the preparation of pitch materials, marketing documents and internal commitment committee memoranda, and managing, training and mentoring analysts
• Preparation of marketing materials and offering documentation with regards to MA, High Yield, and Equity.
Requirements:
• Experience at the 2009 or 2010Associate level with good MA experience.
• Very strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills.
• Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management.
• Excellent technology skills with strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups and filtering) and PowerPoint skills. S/he will be able to quickly learn new software applications.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive. Energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity.
• S/he will be able to communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and via documentation, to and be able to defend their validity.
