Investment Banking Operations, Vice President — F&O and OTC Derivatives Project Manager recruitment

Project Manager / BA managing discrete elements of the delivery of the Strategic Reconciliations Model for the Global FO and OTC Clearing Business. Required to start immediately as a new resource to conclude analysis and build roadmap for key 2012/13 deliveries with AD and external partners to maximise the use of headcount, systems and location capability.

• Role encompasses business analysis to identify, assess and articulate near-term business needs, advise businesses on options, risks and costs of technology solutions versus benefits.
• Proactively communicates business requirements/priorities to key stakeholders; solicits feedback and obtains sign-off on project documentation.
• Effectively translates business requirements into value-added, comprehensive solutions and test plans using appropriate processes, procedures and technology.
• Work closely with team members globally towards timely project deliverables
• Analyze impact of proposed solutions across the various operational and front office teams.
• Ensure that requirements documentation accurately translated into test plans and test cases.
• Development of relevant test scenarios to ensure that testing results correspond to the business expectations.
• Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of training material.

Skills

• Project Management / Business Analyst / Design skills.
• Manage medium scale as well as smaller application development/enhancement projects from inception through completion with little guidance.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Strong technical background with emphasis on full transaction lifecycle and reconciliation, exchange reporting and controls across FO and OTC Derivatives

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Detail oriented

• Must have at least 3 years of solid Business Analysis work experience or extensive line experience
• Must have at least 1 year of project management experience
• Must have experience in business process modeling, and business systems development
• Strong client focus and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
• Experience or knowledge of regulatory challenges for off and near shoring practices

• Skills with regards to creation of Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications.
• 1/3 years experience with FO and OTC Derivatives products
• Previous experience in GUI design and user experience of workflow tools
