Basel 3 Regulatory recruitment
The Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for the production of all UK FSA Regulatory Reporting of capital adequacy (RWA) and large exposures.
The capital management support function is responsible for providing a liaison point between Treasury, Front Office, GFRM and Regulatory policy in capital management and budgeting for both the firm and individual business areas.
Main Duties
Become a Basel III subject matter expert
Produce data analysis for quantitative impact studies (QIS) and data requests relating to Basel III or other areas of interest for Regulators
Get involved in impact analysis and help with the system development for the new rule changes
Perform deep dives on specific businesses that are most impacted by future rule changes, providing key analysis to help those businesses understand the main drivers and how best to manage their RWAs
Qualifications and Education
University Degree or Equivalent
Accounting qualification - CIMA/ACCA or ACA
Experience required
Previous Banking experience with FSA regulatory reporting experience, or experience in a capital management function.
Technical accounting experience
Knowledge of Basel III
Good product knowledge, specifically around OTC derivatives
