Investment Banking Project Manager – VP Level recruitment
A leading Financial Institute is keen to speak to Technology Senior Project/Program managers - VP level candidates to deliver front office projects within the Investment banking domain. You will be required to co-ordinate between front office, development teams, technology service providers, management and test teams to deliver solutions and environments to tight timescales
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Own and manage the project plan, financials, projections, issue/dependency tracking, resourcing and timescales
- Advocate delivery excellence, minimising delivery risk
- Follow the bank's development methodology and drive enhancements to it where appropriate
- Advocate delivery excellence, ensuring application release quality
- Build relationships with key stakeholders: Business, Fellow developments managers inside and outside of FM, Infrastructure teams etc.
Qualifications Skills
- Rigorous approach to management of development methodology
- Proven skills in co-ordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams
- Proven experience in co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment
- Proven experience of working in the Financial Markets environment with exposure to FX ALM
- Prior experience of managing $1m - $15m projects
- Knowledge of all aspects of projects, software development and financial management.
As you would expect from a role of this level, you will need to have the ability to apply strong leadership, and assertiveness to deliver projects on time within stakeholder expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with extensive stakeholder management experience.
