On behalf of a prestigious Private Bank based in Geneva is looking to hire a:
INVESTMENT CONSULTANT RUSSIAN
Purpose of the role:
Proactively provide support and expertise to the Russian CIS Private Banking division in the acquisition, development and retention of all investment services and products related business.
Your responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of Investment Consulting and Private Banking you will partner with Private Bankers to develop new business and increase profit margins
- Support Private Bankers in client acquisition, development and retention
- Accompany Private Bankers in client meetings and business trips
- Promote the Bank’s investment/product offering and provide investment services
- Assess client needs and potential
- Work with Private Bankers dedicated to the Russia CIS market to review existing clients situation and assess new clients potential
- Support Private Bankers in their ongoing acquisition activity with a focus on clients CHF 2mio
- Provide regional investment know-how
- Develop a good level of knowledge and understanding with regards to the investment opportunities/specificities in respective regions
- Provide Private Bankers with investment and regulatory updates that are relevant to their market and pertinent to investment solutions
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of experience either as an investment consultant or as an advisor
- Swiss/ EU national or valid working permit
- University education, plus professional qualification i.e. CFA, CFPI, CIIA etc.
- Sound technical background in macro-economics, modern finance theory, all major asset classes (including hedge funds, private equity and structured products) as well as portfolio management and asset allocation
- Understanding of the principles of Estate Planning ie Trusts, Companies, Foundations and Insurance Wrappers
- Fluent English and Russian
- Excellent communication and proven client facing skills with the ability to express complex ideas in a clear and comprehensive manner
- Ability to challenge clients in a positive and professional manner
- Proactive, ‘can-do’ approach- capable of working with strategic thought and action
- Decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure
