Investment Executive
The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail client base in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe. Products and services include wealth management, stockbroking and retail lending and banking solutions such as residential and commercial mortgages, investment lending, credit cards and relationship banking to businesses and professionals.
Macquarie Personal Banking (MPB), a division of the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS), is one of the private client divisions for Macquarie's retail clients in Australia and New Zealand. The Direct Sales Team is an inbound/outbound phone based sales team that promotes all of the managed funds, lending products and cash investments that Macquarie has to offer.
As an Investment Executive, you will have a passion for results, providing exceptional sales solutions for our clients in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for identifying client prospects and developing self-generated business leads, receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls to both existing and new clients. Additionally you will be providing often complex, financial product information with a view of converting each call, lead, marketing campaign and referral into new business.
This is a varied and demanding role. Therefore the ability to prioritise and multi task is essential. The working atmosphere is suited to an outgoing, competitive, ambitious person that will go the extra mile in order to achieve their goals. Excellent customer care skills combined with a hunger for success is imperative to joining what is currently a high achieving, driven and fun team.
To be considered, you should possess the following:
- Degree qualification in (commerce/accounting/finance/mathematics);
- Have proven results in a phone based sales role, ideally within Financial Services;
- Be highly driven and motivated to achieve individual and team targets;
- Possess zero call reluctance i.e. a strong motivation to investigate and initiate prospective customers;
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an exemplary telephone manner;
- Thrive in a fast paced, client focused environment;
- Enjoy a dynamic, enthusiastic and vibrant team environment.
