The Position
As part of a renewed expansion of our US investment platform, we are currently seeking an Investment Grade /Consumer ABS Trader. The position will be based in our Boston office, report to the Manager of US Fixed Income Trading and be primarily focused on trading in our Structured Product and Investment Grade Credit books of business.
Principal responsibilities will include:
•Executing fixed income transactions for all relevant accounts under management, with an emphasis on Investment Grade/ Consumer ABS;
•Gathering and disseminating market and sector information to appropriate investment personnel;
•Performing market and security analysis;
•Studying the marketplace for tactical opportunities and generating trading ideas consistent with investment strategies.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
•A minimum of 2-5 years of Investment Grade /Consumer ABS Trading experience;
•Strong quantitative, analytical and technology skills;
•Undergraduate degree is required with progress or completion towards a post graduate degree and/or CFA a plus;
•Strong interpersonal skills;
•Strong organizational skills;
•Ability to be accurate under tight time constraints in a high-pressure environment;
•Ability to work in a team environment.
