Investment Management Compliance Analyst recruitment

Working within the Investment Management Division Compliance team and providing compliance coverage and support to GSAM and PWM businesses.  The key responsibility of this group is to manage and mitigate potential conflicts that may arise from the side-by-side management of accounts for a variety of different types of clients including funds and separate accounts. Portfolio managers, investment professionals, and private wealth advisors may be responsible for managing a wide variety of accounts, including advisory and brokerage accounts, performance fee separate accounts, hedge funds, and accounts that contain GS assets.

The Team works closely with GSAM and PWM Senior Management, Portfolio Managers, Trading Desks, Legal, and Technology as well as other groups around the firm.

The SbS Team has members in US, London and Bangalore, and as such, takes a global coordinated approach to identifying and managing conflicts.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Review trading activity to check compliance with appropriate rules, regulations and firm policies.
• Assist in development of policies and procedures to reflect changes in business, regulation, and developing views on issues.
• Advise and assist, as needed, on specific transactions, launch of new products/funds and related business initiatives.
• Create and implement global compliance training programs relating to the issues arising out of "side by side" management.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant regulatory change.

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent required
• Ideally at least one year Compliance, Legal or Asset Management experience
