Investment Manager, Cass Entrepreneurship Fund recruitment
The fund has been set up by a leading business school to support entrepreneurial businesses from its alumni network and the wider school community. The fund invests up to £1m in each opportunity and currently holds a portfolio of six investments.
As this is a small team, you'll be actively involved in all aspects of the investment cycle and help to commercialise some of the UK's most exciting entrepreneurial businesses. You'll be keen to build on the skills you've gained for a UK focused venture capital or growth capital investor. A qualified CA, ACA or MBA would be preferred.
To be successful in this role you'll need the following experience:
- A strong financial background with exposure to wide range of businesses.
- An accountancy qualification
- UK focused private equity or venture capital investment exposure
- Transaction experience and familiarity with venture capital investments structures
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - you'll be representing the fund in its market place
- First class organisational skills with the ability to manage the investment process
- Ability to develop, build and maintain effective relationships with others
- Good commercial judgement
