Investment Manager, Distressed Debt – ACA backgrounds sought recruitment
Our client is a very successful hedge fund. They run a number of investment strategies including long short/ distressed/ event driven and have substantial assets.
Their very successful distressed debt investments team is now looking to an investment professional.
The role will focus on the analysis of distressed investments, valuations, credit research, work outs, generating and analysis of trading ideas, private investments, turnarounds.
They are looking for a candidate who will have a background as follows:
- restructuring advisor from one of the major investment banks
- restructuring advisor from one of the major accounting firms
- ACA qualified would be useful although not essential
- Real understand of restructuring, valuations, insolvency
- There is some flexibility around level, as the team has a flat structure, but it is likely that you will be at the Manager to VP/ AD level or equivalent.
