The AEGON Asset Management businesses employ over 1,300 staff worldwide.FunctieThe Financial Reporting Accounting team delivers financial reporting and accounting support to both the General Account (GA) and the Insurance Linked Clients of AEGON Asset Management. The job holder provides monthly, quarterly and annual reports containing an analysis of the investments of these clients. Furthermore, he or she will also be responsible for any regulatory reports, ad hoc reports and requests for information. The job combines financial reporting with sophisticated accounting requirements. Furthermore it has to be executed in a complex and content driven environment.
- (Shared) responsibility for controls on Nett Asset values of investment portfolios;
- (Shared) responsibility for daily accounting;
- Performing controls on pricing of investments;
- Periodical reporting to clients and regulator (DNB);
- Contribution to quality management and risk management;
- Contribution to other (control)activities.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by his/her manager from time to time so long as such duties are within the scope and ability of the job holder.Profiel
- Bachelor / Master Degree in finance / accountancy;
- 0 – 3 years relevant work experience;
- Strong analytical skills, accurate and disciplined
- Strong accounting skills;
- Preferably experience with investments and / or investment administration;
- Self starter;
- The ability to initiate and complete work assignments effectively and in a timely manner;
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft is advantageous;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English language both written and verbally;
- Quality oriented
