About our Client

Our client is one of the leading global Insurance firms with a strong historical presence in China. As part of their ambitious growth plans they are now looking to further strengthen their Investment capability within the organization and looking to hire an Investment Manager for their Investment department as they are keen to bolster this department.

Job Description

This person will be responsible for managing all investment related activities and coordinate with regional APAC team members. You will also head up the China Investment Committee and develop and review investment reports. You will also deal with external regulators and coordinate any requests associated with investment operation. Your performance will be measured based upon the ability to generate Net Investment Income out of the investments, preserve capital and provision of liquidity and to comply with China regulation and internal investment policies.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years investment related experience with a proven track record of investment related achievements and performances. It is important for this role to have excellent English and Chinese language skills both in speaking and writing. From a personality point of view our client will appreciate candidates who are sharp, curious, motivated, hard working and who fit into their more open type of work environment.
