For one of our clients, a global asset manager, we are searching for a “Investment Manager Natural Resources Energy”
This individual will be selecting, analyzing and monitoring publicly listed European equities in the Energy sector thus providing us with key input for our investment decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Identification and development of new investment ideas within the Energy sector
- Thorough fundamental analysis and evaluation of listed stocks, including assessments of the market environment, the company strategy, future developments, and the competitors
- Development of convincing investment recommendations as major input for portfolio construction. Discussing these with senior management, investment managers, companies, market experts and brokers
Profile sought:
- Excellent sector expertise in the Energy universe (esp. oil, gas, oil services), 3-5 years of relevant experience in the European Energy sector as well as in the fields of required qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of capital markets
- Advanced knowledge in the interpretation of financial data, such as annual reports, macroeconomics, etc.
- Theoretical and work-related know-how in equity valuation
- Competence in working with market data tools such as Thomson Reuters and/or Datastream
