In order to complete our team we are looking for an
Investment Manager
to join immediately or according to agreement.
Your opportunity
- Assisting, with a high degree of autonomy, the Group CFO in on-going corporate finance mandates including deal structuring and financing
- Support the value creation process of the existing investments by monitoring, consulting them in their strategic activities and reporting on performance
- Assess and develop new investment cases, including project management with internal and external business partners and advisors
- Analysing companies and markets, assess and create business plans and participate in transaction negotiations
- Interact with current investments, as well as senior management within the group of companies
The day-to-day work is a combination of direct interaction with the companies, potential projects and targets, desk research and presentation preparation, as well as management interactions off and onsite driven by the various projects (national and international /emerging markets)
Your skills, experience and qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial institution, consulting group or the corporate finance department of a larger corporation
- Demonstrated track record in dealing with MA processes and/or private equity portfolio companies, including negotiation and valuation experience
- Demonstrated track record in deal structuring and financing
- Demonstrate proficiency in core financial techniques
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economy or Accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication presentation skills in English and German
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- High professionalism and an entrepreneurial work approach
- Initiative and able to work independently as well as leading projects
- Experience with emerging markets would be a plus
- Portuguese is an asset
