Investment Marketing Planning Manager recruitment

Opportunity

The purpose of the role is to assist the Director of Investment Marketing (IM) in the development of the investment marketing team.

Key responsibilities
Purpose:
-To support the IM Director in the development of the IM team
-To develop and manage consolidated marketing plans by investment franchise
-To lead and coordinate projects and change within the IM team

IM Planning
-To take ownership in Investment Marketing of projects to develop the team (includes projects such as process reviews, intranet development)
-To lead and coordinate as appropriate change management activities within the IM team
-To develop and maintain MI to support Investment Marketing activities and reporting
-To support business planning process within IM on an annual basis, coordinating planning workshops as appropriate
-To communicate Investment Marketing activities to the business, representing the team when appropriate
-Represent Investment Marketing at key internal meetings (e.g. sales meetings/boards) and on projects
Investment Franchise Planning
-Work with marketing, Investment Marketing, Product Research and Sales to develop an annual marketing plan on behalf of each investment franchise
-Take ownership of these plans to coordinate delivery
-Attendance at franchise meetings
-Attendance at Marketing Client Service Committee on an ad hoc basis when presenting plans
-To manage delivery of the plan through engagement with the different business areas
-To manage specific campaigns
-To develop plans in the context of wider strategic initiatives and in line with strategic plans
-To manage resource conflicts and escalate issues as they arise to the Marketing Client Service Committee
-Design of investment franchise plan/look and feel

Fund Manager Marketing Diary
-Manage the Fund Manager Marketing Diary team to deliver management of the booking process for fund manager / investment specialist marketing time
-Resolve issues and escalate as appropriate to IM Director, Sales or Investment Specialist team

IM Planning Executive
2 x Events executives (Fund Manager Marketing Diary)

-Performance against personal objectives
-Feedback from Senior Managers in investment and distribution

What we are looking for
Knowledge and experience:
-Marketing/Investment Marketing background useful and/or with project management/consultancy experience
-Interest/experience in the distribution of funds in the UK and cross border funds in Europe/Asia
-Investment knowledge

Qualifications:
-IMC preferable or study for
-May be studying for CFA
