Investment Officer II
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide assistance in the oversight and monitoring of both the Partnerships and the investment manager portfolios within the Emerging Manager Program.
• Provide analysis and prepare reports to ensure managers are in compliance with contractual and guideline requirements.
• Develop and implement manager transitions, including reconciliation of operational issues such as trading and custody requirements.
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
• Equivalent to graduation from college preferably with major work in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, or a closely related field
• Three years of increasingly responsible investment analysis experience for a public agency or private financial institution, insurance company, pension fund, endowment fund, investment firm, real estate development and investment firm, or other private corporation or entity having a major investment management program
Desirable Qualifications:
• Direct investment manager experience
• Prefer graduate degree or CFA
• Experience with contracts
• Excellent communication skills
• Self – starter
• Anxious to learn and willing to work with others
• Energetic, open-minded and results oriented
