Investment Support Assistant recruitment
Purpose
Primarily responsible for supporting their respective investment management team(s) adhere to internal procedures and helping to organise and monitor their universe(s). This role covers a range of duties from day to day tasks such as updating and maintaining the Multi Manager Database System (MMDB) to assisting in the investment process by supervising the collection of fund documentation and the production of fund reports.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Administrative:
- Screen incoming telephone calls courteously and ensuring clear concise messages are conveyed when necessary.
- Maintain busy team diaries, be responsible for meeting related tasks including production and circulation of agendas/itineraries, facilities booking (room/IT/refreshments), providing supporting documentation in a timely manner and meet and greet of visitors.
- Ensure that all internal procedures are adhered to.
- Take effective notes / minutes during meetings.
Research:
- Assist in the production of research reports, which includes quantitative data provided by funds.
- Work well with others and support the team research process.
- Effectively communicate data requests and liaise with counterparties.
- Undertake research and ad hoc projects when required.
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- Interest in financial services industry.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be fully computer literate with the ability to learn in-house applications.
