Investor Relations Analyst recruitment
Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst - Investor Relations is part of a team that represents Moody's business performance and prospects to the investment community. This role has substantial contact with current and potential shareholders, equity research analysts and Moody's senior management, and will gain exposure to all areas of Moody's. Reports to VP - Investor Relations.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Participate in the preparation of materials for Moody's quarterly earnings releases, non-deal roadshows, and industry conferences attended by investors and Moody's senior management.
- Distribute equity analyst reports to Moody's management. Assist in tracking and analyzing Wall Street analysts' earnings and valuation models.
- Collaborate with Moody's business planning and corporate controller teams to verify financial data and trends. Assist other IR team members in responding to investors' questions and information requests.
- Manage content updates for Moody's investor relations website and internal Sharepoint site.
- Track shareholder ownership and assist with maintenance of IR's contact database.
- Develop and maintain expertise on company and its lines of business, debt issuance and market activities through review of internal and external sources, discussions with management and other employees.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required.
- At least 3 years of business experience, preferably in an accounting or finance capacity. Communications experience within the financial services industry (e.g., equity research or investor relations experience) is a plus.
- Excellent quantitative and communication skills (verbal and written). Very strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels, departments and locations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Professional demeanor and integrity. Must be able to manage sensitive information in confidence and with discretion.
- Knowledge of capital markets.
- Strong PC skills, especially MS Powerpoint and Excel, and ability to adapt to other technologies as required.
