ION Platform Architect - Investment Bank - Associate Director/Director - £120k
A leading Investment Bank, based in the City of London, are looking to locate a Senior Platform Architect to join the team responsible for maintaining the performance and capacity of the Global ION Platform.
The platform operates globally supporting a number of different business areas, providing connectivity to a variety of Fixed Income electronic markets.
You will be joining 1 other in London alongside a team of 4 in Krakow, therefore helping to assist the management from the London side.
As the ION Platform Architect you will be required to provide architectural guidance, standards, libraries and tooling for both applications development and support. This position is fundamentally part of a development team but requires close interaction with the application development and support teams.
This role is an architect position however it will require a small amount of development in the way of small development tasks however nothing too complex.
Key Skills
- Unix/Linux Command Line
- Java
- Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python etc)
- SQL
- Personal communication skills
This role is based on the Marketview platfrom from ION Trading however no previous knowledge is required therefore this is a fantastic opportunity to gain that experience.
This is a permanent position offering basic salary negotiable up to £120k with an additional bonus and benefits package included.
